Sarah Smith

Before moving into animation, Sarah was a Director, Writer and Producer with a critically acclaimed career in British television comedy.

In 2006, she was recruited by Aardman Animations to build a new slate of projects at the end of their Dreamworks pact.

In 2006, Sarah was recruited by Aardman Animations to build a new slate of projects at the end of their Dreamworks pact. Her animation debut as director and co-writer was the critically acclaimed Arthur Christmas. In 2014 Sarah co-founded Locksmith Animation, it is currently the UK’s only dedicated high-end CG feature animation studio.
