Nat Saunders

Nat Saunders is a writer, producer, director and performer who works alongside his writing partner, James Serafinowicz. They started writing together in the late 2000’s and created and wrote their first sitcom, Sick Note, starring Rupert Grint, Lindsay Lohan, Nick Frost and Don Johnson for Sky1 and Netflix. They then teamed up with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost to create and write Truth Seekers for Amazon Prime Video and wrote on comedy series Sneakerhead for UKTV. They wrote, produced and directed the live show Brian Butterfield: The Call of Now, which had a sell-out tour of the UK and culminated in a sold-out show at the Hammersmith Apollo. Their short film The Awakening, starring Daniel Mays, was selected for the London Film Festival among many others and is currently being developed into a TV series. They are currently developing TV and film projects for BBC Drama, Warp Films, Big Light, Tomorrow Studios, FOX, Studio Ramsay, Bento Box, Two&Two Productions, BBC Studios and Revolution Films.

Nat was an integral part of the writing team for Sky1 sitcom Trollied, which ran for seven seasons, and has writing and performance credits for shows such as Cardinal Burns, Charlie Brooker’s NewsWipe, and award-winning CBBC shows All Over The Place and Fit. He co-created and directed the BBC’s viral hit Misery Bear (plus wrote the spin-off book), and wrote and starred in award-winning sci-fi comedy film/web series SOS: Save Our Skins.
