Lloyd Langford
Lloyd is a stand-up comedian, writer and actor. He can be regularly heard as co-host of The Rhod Gilbert Show (BBC Radio Wales) and on comedy programmes such as The Unbelievable Truth and The News Quiz (both BBC Radio 4).
His television appearances include Q.I, Celebrity Mastermind and Never Mind The Buzzcocks.
Lloyd Langford is a Welsh-born comedian, writer and actor.
Currently residing in Australia, Lloyd has toured extensively selling out venues around the country. His dry, direct yet cheeky charm is seen on hit TV shows like Have You Been Paying Attention?, Thank God You’re Here, Taskmaster Australia (winner Season 2), The Hundred with Andy Lee, Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen, Spicks and Specks and Guy Montgomery’s Guy Mont Spelling Bee.
In 2021, Lloyd embarked on a national tour with his partner and fellow comedian, Anne Edmonds. Their show Business With Pleasure played to sold out crowds and was later recorded for Paramount+. His show Current Mood was released by Network Ten in 2024 and saw him nominated for Best Stand Up Comedy Special at the AACTAs (Anne won).
Back in the UK, Lloyd has been an accomplished and in demand artist who has been performing and writing comedy for over two decades. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe countless times, been invited to Just for Laughs Montreal, and performed stand-up from Abu Dhabi to Zurich.
His UK television appearances include QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Russell Howard’s Good News and he was regularly heard as co-host of The Rhod Gilbert Show on BBC Radio Wales. In 2022, he was the co-creator and writer of The Island, a unique panel game show for UK TV network Dave.
He is also an award-winning writer, receiving a Radio Academy award for his contributions to BBC Radio Wales series Here Be Dragons. He has also worked on countless programs including Live at The Apollo, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and 8 Out of Cats Does Countdown. His writing is second to none, and each show he creates is a masterclass in comedy.
