She is known for her captivating stage presence and commanding screen performances.

She trained at Dublin's GSA before establishing a dynamic career across theatre, television, film and radio.

She is a founder member of The Belfast Ensemble.

Abigail appeared as the titular 'Sadie' in David Ireland's Sadie {BBC/Lyric Theatre) directed by Conleth Hill. Her acclaimed work continued in Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman (Lyric Theatre) and The Price (Gate Theatre, Dublin). In one-woman play Father, the Father (Prime Cut Productions), Abigail earned praise for her 'rich inner life that balanced vulnerability with strength.'

Some previous productions also include roles in Can't Forget About You, again with David Ireland and Conleth Hill, (Lyric, Belfast/Tron, Glasgow), Everything Between Us (Rough Magic), The C★★t of Queen Catherine (Belfast Ensemble), End of Hope, End of Desire (Oran Mor),St Joan, The Glass Menagerie, A Whistle in the Dark and How I Learned to Drive (Lyric, Belfast).

On screen Abigail is known for her portrayal of Tina McIntyre in BAFTA winning series Blue Lights (Two Cities Television/Gallagher Films) as well as appearing in The Power of Parker (Lookout Point/BBC), The Lovers (Sky/AMC), PUNT (Poli Pictures) and Ballywalter (Empire Street Productions)

She continues to work across a range of genres with a focus on meaningful, collaborative projects..
